I will need to do this only until Adobe releases a new version of ACR, which may be just a few weeks, so I'm not willing to pay a large fee for the software. I did this for one file to confirm that it works pretty well, but I don't have time to do this manually for hundreds of images, which is why I'm looking for an alternative batch method. The background is this: I recently purchased a Nikon D750, which is not yet supported by Adobe Lightroom or Camera Raw, but I learned elsewhere on the internet that if you change the camera model in the EXIF data to D5300, then it works fine. Does anyone know of a good, freely available program for Windows that can batch edit the EXIF data in NEF (Nikon raw) files? I have found a program called Exif Pilot which works for editing one photo at a time but charges $80 for the batch editing plugin, and I would like to find a free one if possible.
